We administer a work-study program here on campus, giving all students equal time in an on campus job, and in the class room. Fletcher is a place for students to grow: in the workplace, in the classroom, & in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Please look around our website and see if we are the school for you.

Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute
The campus of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute has been dedicated to Christian education since 1899. In that year a Christian high school was founded to serve local and boarding students. Local Baptists began the school and later formed a partnership with the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Fruitland Institute offered a Christian secondary education until the school was closed in 1936. The property was purchased later by the North Carolina Baptist State Convention with the possibility of developing a conference center. The facilities were used for that purpose in the summers for several years.
